On June 13, 2024, a signing ceremony between Guangzhou Automobiles Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC Group) and Shenzhen Tencent Computer System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tencent) was held in Shenzhen for the framework agreement on deepening strategic cooperation. Xia Xianqing, Vice President of GAC Group, and Zhong Xiangping, Vice President of Tencent, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties. Feng Xingya, President of GAC Group, and Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent Group and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industry Business Group, attended the event.

According to the agreement, the two sides will deeply combine the strength of GAC Cloud and Tencent Cloud for the joint creation of a next-generation hybrid cloud infrastructure that supports GAC Group's collaborative cloud innovation in areas such as intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, digital intelligence transformation of enterprises, and going global.

 

The agreement also involves upgrading cooperation in intelligent cockpit, the mobility service platform ONTIME and other areas.

 

Since GAC Group and Tencent established a close strategic partnership in 2017, the two sides have yielded remarkable results in various areas, including intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, cloud platform, digital marketing, and mobility services, laying a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation. Upholding the principle of collaborative innovation for win-win results, the two sides will integrate their own advantages resources, and work together to seize new development opportunities in the era of AI to shape new quality productive forces, and promote high-quality development.
